Every Monday through Thursday, 18h-23h.

• 18h00 - 20h00: Aperitivo Tango with "Lounge - Tango" music.
• 20h00 - 23h00: Mixed traditional & modern classic Tango music.

The "Practica" is a very important link between the classes and the milonga. Like Carlos says: it is like the kitchen in the old days, where we always found ourselves exchanging ideas, "filosofeando", eating and drinking with our family.
We offer 4 weekly 'Practicas' to our students, as always free admission for everyone who's signed up in the current trimester courses, with music from all styles of tango.

Admission :
Pasionales : Gratis.
Non-Pasionales : 5€ Per Person, Per Practica.

Note : During the "course-breaks" Practicas will not take place:
February 13th - 16th, March 15th, March 19th to the 22nd

As an additional workout to speed up tremendously your learning and to stay in shape, Pasional offers:
"Women Technique / Dynamics of Movement" and "Men Tango Training"' workshops that will help you focus on your role as a leader or follower, integrate the movements and dynamics, find your own musicality, rhythm and style. On the men side, in addition, we will work on learning the "codes", a bit of history, the right attitude and the psychology of tango.

Every Saturday 21hs - 02hs… or longer ;-) It is taking place in our brand-new Sala "Pugliese" (downstairs), 100m2 of oak-floor and the inspiring modern classical Tango music from the late 40's, 50's, 60's ... and up, talking about "Los Grandes del Tango" just like: Troilo, Pugliese, Piazzolla, Gobbi, Francini, etc., all the way to Sexteto Mayor and Color Tango, a period which is most creative, very danceable and sophisticated but unfortunately rarely to be found in most European Milongas! DJ Carlitos and guests. "Tapas y Vinos" will be served in "The Tasting Room". Starting on January 21st.

Tapas and Wine , 18hs - 23hs Join us in our New "Tasting Room" & "Tango Lounge". where you you can start to practice from 6pm and will find from Monday through Thursday a changing variety of wonderf and, veryl tasty Tapas specialities, fine wines and a very good selection of fresh juices prepared by our chef Martha & the Artist Katja. All this to a mixture of Lounge-Tango music. From 8:30pm the music will turn to traditional and modern classical tangos.

The History and Why :
Carlos' experience is that one has to like a place in order to go and do whatever is that you feel like doing!
After living in Rome he started to play with the idea of an aperitivo for the students, to have a familiar place to go after work and decompress, have a quick bite while tasting some nice wine and if you get in the mood to dance a few tangos.

He doesn't like the pressure to have to go somewhere to dance, it is just like en Buenos Aires, we like to go to the milonga to decompress, to socialize, to meet different people or just to have a bite or a drink, and "if" we get in the mood or "motivated" by a tango or a woman, then we dance ;-)
This is something that most dancers from "outside" don't understand: "we are not in the milonga to workout" you have to look at this from an artist point of view: "when you get inspired you create"!

Getting back to the subject, given Carlos' fond for cooking and experimenting with food he wanted to produce this for years but reality strikes! and you can't do it all. Luckily we created a great fusion with Marty and Kathy that will allow us to finally catalyze this idea!

Jazz and Blues , Fridays from 20hs to 23hs Once a month we are planning to have a Friday late-night Jazz - Jam Session with Live Music in an inspiring ambience in our Pasional Lounge, combined with some special "Tapas & Vino". Keep an eye on your mailbox and ready to receive the dates and details!

Our New Space to gather with Kathy and Marty "The Tasting Room" !
Some people study and some are just born to be, Martha it is one of those, she was born a Master Chef, she has a very extended experience, both on her own and managing a 5 stars Restaurant.
We wanted to do it right from the beginning and we believe in quality and high standards that is why we will have with us from January 15th Kathy & Marty running The Tasting Room.
They will surprise you and delight you every-time! We are so very happy they have decided to join us in our project !!!!

Late News, but nonetheless...I'm very Proud of my... Angels ! on December 11th 2011...
Rosa (who've created the choreograph) and the girls did a great job on their first performance together, with a very short time notice but with a lot of dedication and commitment from our very mixed levels' pupils, from left to right they are: Anna, Anastasija, Aysegül, Rosa, Lena and Cigdem, oh yes! the lucky guy in the center it's me ;-)

This Party marked the end of our last trimester, the international "Day of Tango", Lenna's "Tango Fashion Show" and most importantly: Rosa's Birthday Celebration!!!
It was a great way to finish the Year, with a full house (as usual :-) surrounded by friends, pasionales and many new faces!

This is the section we could call: "Before"and soon "After"Since December 11th 2011...We started working very hard and very fast to acomplish the goals for this First Trimester of 2012, and much more it is on the way for the next two trimesters left in 2012.
This year will be amazing for us and for Vienna's tango scene!!!

Well this is the way I look after...our training / workout , and then I am tired like a dog, but they can count with 100% of my moral support !!!!
